Cardinal in Minerva Park

I happened to catch this cardinal in my lens the other day, and I wanted to share with everyone.

These photos were taken in my backyard, here in Minerva Park.

I'm sorry I couldn't get more photos of him or a better angle, he was running from me while I tried to get a shot so I let him go.

Cardinals are fairly common here in winter, as they are our state bird and all.

  1. My late Grandma's favorite bird was the Cardinal. She had Cardinal knickknacks all over her home. Whenever we see one, we joke that it's Grandma looking after us. I think your Cardinal may be looking after Jason. :-) Nice pictures!!

  3. The bird, the bird, the bird is the word …

The Cardinal represents ALL that is beautiful and pure and 2829 Minerva Lake represents all that is ugly and corrupt.

It id interesting how a pimple on the end of the nose overshadows what the prom is all about.

Certainly I am disappointed with 2829, but I take solace in what we have Cardinals, Hawks and yes even the Geese.

So while 99% of Minerva Park is beautiful, the focus is on the one percent at 2829.

I can not resist mentioning Jason. I watched thee “trial” and he was the most creditable and the “trial” was lower that ones held at the Hanoi Hilton.

Maybe is time to recall 2829 and replace it with a Cardinal!

I remain for the 99% and the Cardinal.

    1. Some people think you should pop a pimple, some think you should let it run it's course so it doesn't make a scar. I believe we can't afford to let the pimple run it's course. The Community is already scared enough. It's time to pop the pimple!
